Heery Construction Coordinator Jennifer Fournier at our Nashville-based office recently went the distance at the Tough Mudder for Save the Children charity event. Jennifer braved the mud, and the mud hit back.
Jennifer attacked the mud at the Tough Mudder event at the Milky Way Farms in Pulaski, TN. We are proud of her efforts while making a difference for Save the Children.
While it wasn’t an easy tread and she definitely got some mud in the noes (taking her nearly two hours to get the mud out), Jennifer did bring her best effort for the support of her team.
“I did bring back with me some war wounds…bruised and cut up shins, cuts on my arms and I am having a hard time walking still today. But hey, I tried!”
Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile mud and obstacle course designed to drag you out of your comfort zone by testing your physical strength, stamina, and mental grit. With no podiums, winners, or clocks to race against, it’s not about how fast you can cross the finish line. Rather, it’s a challenge that emphasizes teamwork, camaraderie, and accomplishing something almost as tough as you are.
We are very proud of Jennifer, and her heart and grit as well as all are hard working woman who make a difference in and outside the office.
