2019 Charity Golf Tournament Raises $22,500

Monday – April 29th, turned out to be a beautiful sunny day, about 95 golfers took to the links for the annual CBRE | Heery Charity Golf Tournament at Polo Golf & Country Club in Cumming, Georgia.

Friends, neighbors, and business partners arrived in foursomes ready to play for a shot at the CBRE | Heery Cup.  The fun day on the fairway included a closest to the pin and longest drive competition where more trophies and bragging rights were awarded. Participants and sponsors from nearly 30 companies raised $22,500 – making this the most successful golf tournament hosted to date.

A ceremonial check presentation and luncheon was held at the Atlanta office on May 20 to celebrate the volunteers, sponsors and charitable partners who made this year’s tournament possible. CBRE | Heery Sr. Operations Director Don Green Checks presented to five local charities with representatives from each speaking on the impact the monetary donation will have in furthering the organization’s mission and vision.

This year’s recipients included Make-A-Wish Georgia; Early Learning Property Management; Dream Weavers of Georgia; Atlanta Children’s Shelter; and Atlanta Public Schools – Hope Hill Elementary School. Each organization is direct reflection of the core values of our company and it is an honor to recognize the work that they do and the creative ways in which they help the community.

CBRE | Heery Executive Managing Director Glenn Jardine recognized the time and efforts of those who helped make 2019 a record-breaking year for the CBRE | Heery Charity Golf Tournament and specially thanked Don Green for his continued commitment coordinating the tournament year after year. The annual outing reflects CBRE | Heery’s longstanding commitment to giving back to the communities in which it operates.
