CBRE | Heery Annapolis' holiday tradition brings cheer to children in need

The Anne Arundel County Angel Tree program was started by County employees in 1987, to provide wrapped gifts to needy children in local communities.  The county collaborates with the Holiday Sharing Program through the Department of Social Services and the Saint Vincent dePaul Society, to ensure that each child in their system gets an angel tag.  Each angel tag will give the child's first name, age, sex, and clothing size if given, and the child's wish list.

Every holiday season, CBRE | Heery’s Anne Arundel County project team engages in a tradition of requesting five angel tags for children of varying ages. This season, the team collected $340, not including the items people committed to purchase. The money was spent on clothes and toys for each of the angels. To celebrate, the team held a holiday wrapping party before delivering the angel tree gifts.
