CBRE | Heery Philadelphia Selected to Lead Construction of NJ's new Camden High School

The New Jersey Schools Development Authority (SDA) recently awarded CBRE | Heery a $2.6 million construction management contract for the $133 million Camden High School project in Camden, NJ.

CBRE | Heery’s Philadelphia team is leading the effort to build the new school with construction scheduled to begin Spring 2019. CBRE | Heery has worked closely with the State of New Jersey since 2001 providing program management services under several contracts. Camden will be the third new high school the team has built for SDA having successfully completed the 330,000 square foot Phillipsburg High School in 2016, and the 374,000 square foot Trenton Central High School opening later this year.

The new Camden High School will be a 270,000 square foot, two-story building and will include four small learning communities, gymnasiums, a cafeteria, auditorium and media center. It will educate 1,200 students grades 9 through 12.
