Heery Engineering Completes Punch Inspection at Georgia State Stadium

Heery Engineering was onsite at the new Georgia State Stadium for the project team’s final punch inspection before the stadium is turned over to GSU for the Panther’s first game in their new home stadium on August 31.

The team includes Mechanical Engineers Peter Barron and Perry Kleppin, Electrical Engineer Peyman Dadkhah, Senior Technical Plumbing Jim Anderson, Fire Protection Craig Joyner and Structural Engineer Mike Rometo along with Project Coordinator Elissa Ryan.

Heery Design has worked closely with GSU and builder JE Dunn on the stadium’s conversion from the former MLB stadium Turner Field to a NCAA college football stadium serving the GSU Panthers.

After completing the inspection, our Heery engineers huddled for a team photo, celebrating yet another milestone as the project wraps up in just a few short weeks.
