3400 Overton Park Drive

3400 Overton Park Drive is one of the first new from-the-ground-up office buildings in Atlanta since 2008.  Being that the Cumberland area is thriving with new businesses, the new state-of-the-art facility is planned to house high-end companies. The building is being designed to boost brand visibility and to enhance the working experience for its tenants.

The TPA Group engaged Turner & Townsend Heery to provide architecture and interior design services to create a seven-story, Class-A office building and parking structure. TPA secured a major building tenant, Synovus Financial Corporation, to occupy four floors of the building as part of consolidating Synovus offices around the Atlanta area.

The all-glass building is timeless in character, international presence, and stands out against the more traditional buildings in Cobb County. The building is designed with column-free floor plates and floor-to-ceiling glass; the open floor plan allows for light and great views of Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead. Being one of the last greenfield sites in the Cumberland area, the site has direct access to the major highways and provides building tenants with easy access to the SunTrust Ballpark, Cobb Energy Center, Cobb Galleria Center, as well as shopping and restaurants in the area. Taking advantage of the prime location, the building includes a balcony that overlooks the new Atlanta Braves ballpark and mixed-use development. From this vantage point, the balcony is the design hallmark of the building, establishing a prow pointing north towards the new ballpark.
