Portland Public Schools

With more than 49,000 students in 78 schools, Portland Public Schools is one of the largest school districts in the Pacific Northwest. In 2012, Portland voters approved a $482 million school construction bond that prioritizes high schools, seismic upgrades, increased accessibility and existing partnerships that include capital funding commitments that leverage bond funds.

Heery serves as the construction program manager for the School District’s $482 million building improvement program. We support the District in overseeing the full modernization and historic renovation of three high schools and master planning for six additional high schools, replacement of a Pre-K-8 grade school, and summer projects that will address seismic, roofing, and accessibility issues and improve science classrooms at selected district schools.
