With more than 320,000 flights annually, Miami International Airport (MIA) is one of the largest airports in the U.S. for international passengers. As part of the new North Terminal Design project at Miami International Airport, new restaurants and shops were added and serve as a major point of engagement for travelers and presents what the locale has to offer.
Heery designed the upscale retail and food service spaces using scale, light, unifying materials, and color while maintaining the vendor’s brand and respecting the established standards of the airport. The food concessions give travelers a taste of local offerings and appealing space for retail customers.
