CBRE | Heery Philadelphia prepares 825 meal kits for Philabundance Kids BackPack Program

Philabundance is the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization, acquiring, rescuing and distributing food to 90,000 people weekly in nine counties in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  What started out as a small food rescue organization in 1984 grew to become an innovative, impactful and collaborative organization distributing more than 24 million pounds of food a year to those in need.

On Tuesday, April 24, the CBRE | Heery Philadelphia office as part of CBRE Cares, helped to prepare 825 BackPack meal kits. The BackPack program provides free, nutritious and easy-to-prepare supplemental meals for kids and their families in low-income areas. Each meal kit provides 3-5 pounds of food which offers approximately 3-6 meals of kid-friendly items.
