Cincinnati's Nippert Stadium Continues to Win Big

“With its powerful presence in the heart of the University of Cincinnati, Nippert Stadium’s new West Pavilion provides unparalleled new amenities and greatly enhanced spaces that touch all aspects of the game-day experience and daily campus life.” – Gordon Smith, Heery Project Director of Design.

On Saturday, April 15, Heery’s Project Team celebrated the University of Cincinnati's Nippert Stadium Expansion Project third design award for excellence and creativity at the 2017 American Institute of Architect (AIA) Georgia Design and Honor Awards. Heery designed the 115,000 square foot facility in collaboration with New York-based ARO.  Designed to uphold its powerful on-campus presence, the new West Pavilion weaves itself into the carefully considered urban fabric of the University’s elegant spaces and signature buildings and preserves the historical essence of the beloved stadium through its dramatic geometry and cantilevers.

The Nippert Stadium Expansion Project's top honors for excellence and creativity include:

American Institute of Architect (AIA) - Georgia Chapter | 2017 Award of Excellence
