Federal Bureau of Prisons - Yazoo City

Heery International, Inc. has been awarded the contract to provide Construction Management Agency services for a new $175.7 million federal penitentiary in Yazoo City, Mississippi. This facility houses 960 inmates and is comprise of six two-story buildings, as well as a Federal Prison Industries factory along with a separate 104,000 SF prison camp facility housing 256 inmates.

Heery served as an advisor and consultant to the BOP and furnishes the best skill and judgment necessary to further and protect the interests of the BOP and is performing in an expeditious and economical manner consistent with the interests of the BOP.

• Quality inspection services with complete and accurate documentation

The construction scheduling services support the BOP’s obligations and requirements related to review and acceptance of the construction schedules submitted by the Contractor. Scheduling responsibilities also include review, analysis and reporting on the computer-produced network diagrams, schedules, cost and resource reports, and the monthly updates of the project schedules produced by the design-build contractor.
